Can Ghosts Add Worth To An Old House?

Buying a house of your dreams is one of the greatest pleasures that one feels. Many people wish to own a newly constructed house. However, there are some who look for old ones. Apparently, their philosophy is to get a house in lesser price than what a new house would cost them. For all relevant assistance, they can contact property management consultants. Basically, these consultants work for companies that lease homes and provide property management for several residential units. But surprisingly, there are some people who come to them asking for haunted houses.

There are many old houses that are known to be haunted. While you will come across many people getting scared of such houses, there are some who are intrigued. Therefore, it is wrong to believe that a haunted house has no worth at all. There are some ghost stories associated with old homes that add more value to them. According to some narrated incidences, phantasm fanatics search different homes for any trace of ghosts.

Similar is the story of the Schaibles who were quite different from typical home buyers. They were suspicious about an old Victorian house so they went in to check. The moment they stepped through the front doors, they knew that their search has ended. According to them, the ghost tales actually juiced it up. They do not regret buying that house at all. Moreover, the Schaibles loved to have extended Halloween bashes. And buying this house further supported their idea.

There is another famous house which is known to have been haunted by several ghosts. The house became popular because it has been shown in several documentaries and is home to a kind spirit named Chloe. Legend has it that she was a servant who wanted to sicken her masters so that they cannot send her in the fields to work. But she messed it up and killed the mistress and her two kids by mistake. Other servants got scared and hanged her to death.

Since then Chloe is protective about the children of residents who come to that house. A resident of the place named Moss narrates that she noticed her 10 month old son walking towards a pond in the backyard for a few days. He could have drowned, but Moss puts it that an invisible force protected him. She also heard a voice saying, "They will always be cared for". After this encounter Moss is no longer afraid of the ghost of Chloe.

Finally, different people have different reasons for buying a haunted house. Some are just comfortable sharing their home with an otherworldly resident, while others simply like to capitalize on legendary ghost stories for profit. Surely waking up to an unfamiliar sound or unnerving shriek can create panic in you, however, to some this is a fascinating experience. There are also some ghost house owners who want the world to know about the paranormal activity in their house. For this reason, they turn their houses into bread and breakfasts, restaurants and lodges. So surely, there are ways to add value to a haunted house.
